The website firedamagerestorationchicago.com (the "Site") is operated by Muhammad Aamir Siddiqui ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site or calling a phone number shown on it, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site provides general information about fire, smoke and water damage and a phone number you can call to reach an independent restoration contractor serving the Chicago area. When you call, your call is connected to a contractor who accepts work in your area, and you speak with that contractor on the same call.

We do not collect your contact details for later follow-up, do not pass your details to anyone so they can contact you, and do not make outbound calls, send texts or emails, or send marketing. Anything arranged after your call is agreed between you and the contractor during that call.

We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available in every area or at every time, and coverage may change without notice.

Contractors are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not supervise, direct or control their work. Each contractor is solely responsible for its services, its pricing and terms, its licenses, permits and insurance, and its compliance with law.

Before work begins, you are responsible for checking that the contractor is properly licensed and insured for the work, for example any City of Chicago general contractor license or trade licenses that apply, and for reviewing any written agreement. We do not endorse or guarantee any contractor.

Any estimate, contract, schedule, payment, warranty or dispute about the work is solely between you and the contractor. We are not a party to those agreements and are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, safety or outcome of any work, or for any insurance claim decisions.

Content on the Site is general information, provided for convenience and written in good faith from public sources. It is not professional, legal, insurance, engineering or medical advice, and it may not apply to your home or policy. Rely on qualified professionals, your insurer and public authorities for decisions about your property and safety. Images are illustrative.

The Site is not an emergency service. If there is a fire, smoke, a gas smell or anyone is in danger, leave the building and call 911. Do not re-enter a fire-damaged building until the fire department says it is safe.

Calls to the number on the Site may be routed through a third-party phone system and may be recorded for quality and dispute resolution; if a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call. By continuing the call, you consent to that recording. Placing a call does not give anyone permission to call, text or email you later.

You agree not to misuse the Site or the phone number, including by placing false, harassing or automated calls, interfering with the Site's operation, attempting to access systems without authorization, or copying the Site's content for commercial use.

The Site's text, design, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

The Site links to third-party websites, such as government agencies and standards organizations, for reference. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

The Site and the referral service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from the work, advice, conduct or omissions of any contractor, or from your use of or reliance on the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by Illinois law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
